The Eagles beat off the Panthers on Thursday night, while away from Philadelphia. Seemingly, one touchdown each, per quarter, puts stress on the defense and special teams. The final score was 28-23, Philadelphia Eagles go to (5-1).

Both teams' QBs performed with a 50% average, completion rated score. Panthers Cam Newton threw 28/52 with three-suffocating interceptions. On the other hand, Eagles QB Wentz managed to flow towards his selection of receivers, while overlooking his one fumble and loss, adding three more throwing-touchdowns to the Eagles QB stats for 2017.

Conversely, the Panthers QB Cam Newton did manage to kick in, by running the ball and scoring a running touchdown, during this blow-by-blow battle. Altogether, C. Newton gained over 70-yards, by scrambling and avoiding targets.

Furthermore, Panthers QB put up an effort to connect, in order to move his team down the field. Here are the numbers for the Carolina Panthers offense...

K. Benjamin          9      99      0    19

Unfortunately, those numbers were not nearly strong enough to numb the Eagles defense. Both on the front-line and in the secondary, tough choices were made, and the stats show the results of their strategic decisions.

Week 6 - Defense: Eagles vs. Carolina

Altogether, the Philadelphia Eagles team puts on a strong defensive-front (contrarily, producing zero-sacks), while enabling two leading linebackers to harass Panthers QB and take advantage of their positions to prevent the opponent's running plays from scoring on the scoreboard (both player's performed tackles and assists).

Carolina Panthers Defense - Week 6

In comparison, the Panthers continued sweating the playing field, putting out defensive traps for the entire Eagles front. However, certain Panthers defensive-men (J. Bradberry and T. Davis) were enabled to strike through the Philly offensive-line and flank QG Wentz to a number of outstanding sacks.
