Took a break yesterday to go shopping so it wasn't a total break but who can resist a shopping expedition?
I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on what makes an effective parent? I am fiddling about with an idea and would appreciate hearing your comments.

We have just decided to take www.grandmastoyshop.com.au to the local agricultural show. After all they buy toys there too so why not. Let's not any of just think in one direction and lock ourselves into a box. Look for more unique ways to meet the people you really want to talk to. There is definitely more to life than the internet.
I am suggesting that everyone do a YouTube search for babyP. I recently saw a vid on this and grief and outrage are the only words to express my reaction. This family was visited no less than 60 times by child care authorities and all that happened was that the visitors took notes. What on earth is society becoming. Sorry I couldn't post a video but they don'e display as usual and I couldn't figure it out. Watch any of them there is plenty of choice.
I just watched a vid on fb (I can't help it I want to speak the lingo today lol) anyway this was an impassioned plea for westerners to be less judgmental of Islamics and Palestinians in general. However this plea pointed the finger at those of the western world who murder and commit acts of violence and cruelty. Pointing the finger in this way does nothing to help the cause. We all need to extend to others the love of Christ. He alone knows the heart and mind of individual men and women. We need to be servants of others not judge, jury or executioner of anyone. Sorry all, had to get it off my chest today.
